ng-utils software package provides Tool to access netgroups from the command line, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ng-utils
ng-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ng-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ng-utils *
You will get with ng-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
